Finding VW Beetles for Sale

Chances are, if you are reading this, you are vaguely familiar with Blogs (short for web log). A blog is like a column that is published daily, weekly, or in the case of overachievers - multiple times a day. For the record, this blog is only updated when something of interest happens.

Anyhow.

I found a great resource in my search for an old VW Beetle. Hemmings Motor News offers newsfeeds for specific car searches. If you read blogs through a feedreader, such as Yahoo, Bloglines or any RSS feedreader (my preference is Bloglines - see the link on the left sidebar to subscribe), then you are familiar with how to use an RSS feed.

Basically, the RSS feed updates without you having to do anything.
1. Subscribe to Bloglines
2. Add a feed to your service
3. To add the Hemmings feed for classic VW Beetles, click “Add” and paste this:
http://www.hemmings.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/classifieds.rss_feed_cars/make/Volkswagen/model/Beetle

4. See updates as they come available.

See? easy.

    Angel,

I found the classified section at TheSamba.com to be very helpful. They have a great search function to find cars for sale in your area.
