I have owned it for 2 years and the first year and a half it ran fine. It has 50000 original miles on it and my wife loves it. I am putting it in storage again this winter and now it wont start. It has gas, battery is charged, it turns over, but nothing. I checked the plugs and it has spark. HELP!!!! I need to get it into storage but it wont start. Just last week I got my bug out of the garage after the long hot summer in Arizona. It started right up. I put in gas. The next day it would not start. I changed out the fuel filter (I have never done anything but put gas in this car) and wala.....I was so proud of myself. I fixed it. I even left my husband a note that said......VW $3,500 , annual emissions $750.00, I fixed it.....priceless That is so funny.
