I have a 79 beetle with fuel injection. I have owned it for 2 years and the first year and a half it ran fine. It has 50000 original miles on it and my wife loves it. I am putting it in storage again this winter and now it wont start. It has gas, battery is charged, it turns over, but nothing. I checked the plugs and it has spark. HELP!!!! I need to get it into storage but it wont start. The fuel filter intrests me but does anyone have any ideas???? Please post if you can help. My email address is kknutson@perham.k12.mn.us. Thanks

That is so funny. Just last week I got my bug out of the garage after the long hot summer in Arizona. It started right up. I put in gas. The next day it would not start. I changed out the fuel filter (I have never done anything but put gas in this car) and wala.....I was so proud of myself. I fixed it. I even left my husband a note that said......VW $3,500 , annual emissions $750.00, I fixed it.....priceless
