I have a 1968 North American model with sunroof….!!! The car is currently being restored. I drove it only little before opening it up.. its not a driving pleasure, but the feeling of driving a vintage especially a VW Beatle is extraordinary and restoration itself is addictive.
I have so many fond memories driving around in an old VW beetle as a child and now as an an adult since VW revamped the model, I now get to drive a newer version. =)

I love the picture of the gray matte beetle; it has a old school mob boss feel. Very cool.
The VW Beetle is such an awesome car. It has style, is affordable and unique. No one has done a good job of trying to imitate it, which I love; VW rules!
Hi: Have a 74 standard beetle,i am thinking of adding some 1949-50 chevy belair or crestliner tail lights on the back, they have a curve and would fit the existing drill holes. Would like to get some feedback on this. Never seen this done, but I think it would work. Thanks/Paul
